Cheryl Cole to become judge on The X Factor

London (ANI): English singer Cheryl Cole has finally replaced Sharon Osbourne on the X Factor. The 24-year-old singer is said to have netted 800,000 pounds as a judge after 55-year-old Osbourne quit because her demand of a 2 million pay was not met last week. "I'm so excited, although it's scary joining a huge programme," the Sun quoted Cheryl, as saying. The Girls Aloud star, who shot to fame when the band formed on Popstars: The Rivals, has the rest of her team mates supporting her. "The rest of the girls are right behind me. But it will be weird to be on the other side of the fence this time," she said. With all the excitement going on, a little more firework is expected between Cole, who debuts at auditions June 12, and 36-year-old Dannii Minogue, as the two have clashed in the past.
